Setting the foundations for curious students, one building block at a time

Connecting students with mentors in STEM

The letters ATGC refer to nucleotides, which are the fundamental building blocks of DNA. We chose this name because the concept expresses what our program aims to achieve; we aim to give students – particularly those from educationally underserved communities – the building blocks to explore their futures. The ATGC Squad strives to help students explore the intersections between STEM disciplines while connecting students with mentors to help foster values of curiosity in the next generation of problem-solvers. Our mentors interact with students from diverse age groups while sharing their educational and professional experiences. In addition to facilitating a platform for student mentorship, we also host a variety of student education events such as panels, webinars, and workshops to further drive interest in STEM topics.
